The Creation of Steel

One of the pioneers of the industrialization of America was Andrew Carnegie. He wasn't skilled in the process of making steel, but he invested large amounts of capital to install Bessemer converters in factories. The Bessemer converter transformed wrought iron (pig iron) into steel by blowing cold air through the vessels and then through the molten iron, ridding the iron of any impurities which made it mandible and weak, forming steel. This process was a very simple one where unskilled workers were able to operate it with ease. One of the very first Bessemer converters was installed in Carnegie's own Edgar Thompson Steel Works in Braddock P.A. The factory was able to produce a great amount of steel which cost less by the ton. McClure's magazine documented the results:

"Out of each pot roared alternately a ferocious geyser of saffron and sapphire flame, streaked with deeper yellow. From it a light streamed -- a light that flung violet shadows everywhere and made the gray outside rain a beautiful blue. A fountain of sparks arose, gorgeous as ten thousand rockets, and fell with a beautiful curve, like the petals of some enormous flower. Overhead the beams were glowing orange in a base of purple. The men were yellow where the light struck them, violet in shadow.... The pot began to burn with a whiter flame. Its fluttering, humming roar silenced all else.... A shout was heard, and a tall crane swung a gigantic ladle under the converting vessel, which then mysteriously up-ended, exploding like a cannon a prodigious discharge of star-like pieces of white-hot slag.... Down came the vessel, until out of it streamed the smooth flow of terribly beautiful molten metal. As it ran nearly empty and the ladle swung away, the dropping slag fell to the ground exploding, leaping viciously, and the scene became gorgeous beyond belief, with orange and red and green flame."

cement vertical roller mill


For the cement industry were 30,25,20,10,8.8 tons of annual production and other industries use to meet the users of different materials with different yield and grinding requirements. At the same time I also have fine vertical grinding mill, the State Development Center has fine vertical cement mill as the "Eighth Five-Year" period focused on promoting the application of high efficiency, new energy-saving products.

1, the main structure and function
Roller is the main material for rolling mill parts. Mill built with two pairs of roller, each pair of rollers mounted on the same shaft, rotating at different speeds.

2, the working principle of vertical roller mill

Hot Rolling Mills


Our range of hot rolling mills are extensively used for shaping large pieces of metal, such as slabs or billets. These pieces of metal are heated above their recrystallization temperature and then deformed between rollers to form thinner cross sections. The hot rolling produces thinner cross sections than cold rolling processes with the same number of stages. Hot rolling will reduce the average grain size of a metal, while maintaining an equipped micro structure.

Now, this process, in commercial terms is known as Turn Key project. For e.g. If a foreign company wants to install a hot rolling mill, they would search for the companies who would manufacture/supply/install all the machinery and give them a trial production start-up. Now, not necessarily the turn key project company will be based in the same country, and hence, they have to depend upon foreign turn key project handlers for this project.

General Knowledge of Seamless Steel Pipe


Seamless steel pipe is a long steel with hollow sections and has no joints surrounding the steel bar. It is mainly used as a pipeline to transfer the fluid, such as oil,natural gas,water and some solid materials,etc. As compared to the flexural torsional strength in the same light, it is an economic cross-section steel. The seamless steel pipes are widely used in the manufactures  and mechniacal parts,such as the oil pipe, automotive transmission shaft,bicycles aircraft,as well as buliding construction. With steel pipe manufacturing, annular parts can improve the material utilization, simplify the manufacturing process, save material and machining time. For example, the roller bearing rings and the jack sets and so on have been widely made of steel pipes. Cylindrical rube can delivery more fluid since the circle has the largest areas under the same circumference. In addition, the ring cross-section bears internal or external pressure, the force more evenly, so that vast majority of tubular steel pipes are cylindrical rubes . However, the tube also has some limitations, such as in-plane bending conditions, the pipe on the better side, rectangular tube bending strength, and a number of sets of frames, steel-wood furniture on the commonly used square, rectangular tube.


The pressure grade of the pipes:

The parameters of channels characteristics which are determined by the nominal pressure level and wall thickness are called the pressure grade of the pipes.
the determine of the pressure  grades is not only the basis for pipeline design, but also the core of design. It is the basis of the arrangement of pressure pipe, and pressure pipe stress precondition for checking the design. and it is also an important factor which will affect investment and reliability.

Some of the diverse applications of Stainless steel seamless pipe


Stainless steel seamless pipes have become very common these days and are offered by almost all steel pipes manufacturers. The benefits such as higher corrosion resistance than carbon steel and conventional stainless steel and light –weightiness make the design and construction compact and light. Stainless steel is composed of copper, chromium, nickel, tungsten, manganese, etc. and is therefore rust resistant. Stainless steel seamless pipes can prove to be a cheaper alternative to the nickel alloys, which are very costly. Steel has higher strength which leads to reduced thicknesses of section and therefore has reduced weight. It also exhibits good weld ability in thick sections and the ability to be welded is more in stainless steel. Resistance to stress corrosion cracking: Austenitic steel is prone to such corrosions. The resistance posed by stainless steel to stress corrosion cracking makes this material fit for purposes like Hot water boilers, brewing tanks and desalination, structure of swimming pools, etc.

Casting process vibration device is made up of four parts, oscillation platform, demi-plate spring device, reducer and eccentric shaft device.

Oscillation platform: it is of welded machining structure; the joint part mounted on it for cooling water inlet and outlet can be disassembled rapidly; for the water inlet and outlet of mould and foot roller

Semi-plate spring device: Substituting the upper part’s rigid guiding arm. Lessen the hinged point to ensure stable oscillation.

Reducer: being of pinwheel structure, long life span and high efficiency.
Eccentric shaft device: the swing will be adjusted by adjusting the position of eccentric shaft and eccentric sleeve.
