The word ‘wrapping' when applied to packaging machines covers different styles and kinds of equipments. Twist wrapping device can seal the end of the cover by getting the film twisted. The film used is often stiff and cellophane is basically used for the purpose.
Then there is the overwrapping tool that encloses the product with paper of sheet of film and uses a series of sealing and folding operations to form an enclosed pack.
Roll wrapping machines are also available in the market. They can cover up the cylindrical items in series of folding and heat sealing operations by making use of heat sealable film.
There is also another one known as foil and band wrapping instrument. Here the product first gets enfolded in an aluminum foil and then in band of paper. It is mainly used to pack chocolate bars and confectionery items.
